The photo exhibition Behind the Scenes of Winnetou, subtitled Peace be with You, Brother, shows black and white or colour original photographs from the filming of the famous Karel May stories, photos of the actors such as Lex Barker, Mario Adorf, Marie Versini, Karin Dor, Klaus Kinski, Terence Hill and the late performer of the Apache Chief Winnetou, Pierre Brice, as well as directors, stuntmen and other members of the film crew with autographs and publicity stills from the films. Czech and German posters for each May film are also on display as well as three-dimensional objects from the sets and a replica of a Winnetou costume.
The author and curator of the exhibition is Daniel Hovorka. The photographs come from the collection of a private collector. The exhibition was supported by the South Bohemian Gallery.
