The Fokus Association in Jindřichův Hradec which has been active in the local region since 1963 when it was founded under the name of District Photocentre Jindřichův Hradec, presents to the public photographs from its current members, as well as pictures by Otakar Gawlik, the recently deceased longtime chairman and founder of the Fokus Association.
The members of Fokus not only exhibit in the Museum of Photography and Modern Visual Media, but as from this year they now also hold their meetings in the building. One of the first results of cooperation between the Museum and the Fokus Association is the preparation of the aforementioned exhibition. The exhibited images of varied photographic genres were usually selected by the authors. They were printed in the digitization studio of the Museum and will become part of its permanent collection after the presentation ends.
Exhibiting artists: Otakar Gawlik, then in alphabetical order; Josef Böhm, Richard Brychta, Pavel Körner, Jan Müller, Jan Oliva, Vlastimil Sítař, Petra Slipková and Karel Zábrodský.
