Jiří Müller was born in 1957. He has lived in Studená. He graduated from the University of Agriculture in České Budějovice. From the beginning of 2003 until the end of 2019, he worked as the head of the environmental department at the Dačice Municipal Office. Environmental protection has been his job and hobby. He has been photographing since childhood. He was taught to photograph by his father. His photographic beginnings were inspired and influenced by family friends, painters Jiří Mareš and Miluška Doleželová. Jiří Mareš also gave him the basics of composition. He focuses mainly on nature and landscape photography. Most of the pictures are taken in the Javořice Highlands, especially in the vicinity of Studená. The images capture the actual lighting conditions at the time the image was born.
